Inspired by the "little things" that create memorable travel experiences, the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel chain has embarked on a 50-city tour to offer special treats and giveaways to travelers and local residents. On June 4, the DoubleTree by Hilton "Little Things Project" will make a stop at Johnson County Community College (Commons Courtyard) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This unique pop-up event will be highlighted by a "Tell Me Tree" tent, an inviting respite where residents and travelers will be able enjoy a variety of "little things" experiences and giveaways including: ~ DoubleTree by Hilton's chocolate chip cookies - the brand's legendary icon for warm and welcoming service. "We are thrilled that the Little Things Project is making a special stop in Overland Park to brighten the days of our local residents and travelers," says Bob Hite, general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Kansas City - Overland Park. "It's the perfect opportunity to take a break from a busy day, let us know the 'little things' important to you when you travel and enjoy some of the many 'little things' DoubleTree by Hilton has brought to Kansas City."
