Strang Hall

Strang Hall is a collection of six unique restaurants spearheaded by some of the top chefs in town. Come by yourself, come on a date, or come with the whole family. Strang Hall lets you get a taste of all the restaurants, or you can indulge at just one.

Overland Park Farmer's Market

Near the Clocktower Pavillion. For over 40 years, vendors have been providing farm-to-table food. Vendors offer shoppers a wide variety of products including fresh produce, local foods and unique specialty items. The Farmers’ Market helps you eat locally and in season while supporting your community. You'll also find coffee and hot food as well. The Overland Park Farmers Market was rated the "Best Farmers Market in the State of Kansas" by Cooking Light Magazine and in September 2022 was voted the top Farmers' Market in the nation!

Thompson Park

Thompson Park re-opened following extensive renovations in the summer of 2020. Located on the main drag of Downtown Overland Park, the park now features two open-air shelters, new restrooms, a performance stage, seating areas, outdoor grilling area and picnic tables, outdoor working space with wi-fi, a play ground area, including a crawl tunnel, climbing structure, spinner, swings, and water play. Thompson Park is named after Downtown Overland Park business owners and philanthropists, Frank and Evangeline Thompson.  

InterUrban ArtHouse

The Interurban Arthouse is a collaborative space hosting artists, performers and creative industries. Open to the public six days a week with a reception every third-Thursday, you never know what you’ll find – and no two visits are the same. Sculptors, painters, fire-breathers, dancers, poets, musicians – all forms of creative expression come to life here. Stop by for a cup of coffee and watch an artist work, or check their events calendar to plan ahead.

Kate Smith Soirée is a A Luxe Boutique Bakery nestled in Downtown OP on Santa Fe. At Kate Smith Soirée, our confections are handcrafted using delicate classic techniques. It may not always be the fastest or easiest method, but it’s simply the best possible way to ensure care and create quality products. We are proud to offer a lineup of high quality French macarons that are unlike any other in the KC Metro. But of course, our bakery is more than just French macarons.
