2020 is off to a hot start with tons of new restaurants and activities open already, with many more set to open in the coming months (check back soon for those). Here are three things you will want to add to your weekend itinerary.

Strang Hall

Home to six unique restaurants (all of which are local restaurants with some of the best chefs in town), a bar (you’ll want to check out their cocktail list), and a coffee shop (who doesn’t need caffeine at all hours of the day), this food hall is a foodie heaven. In the heart of downtown Overland Park, Strang Hall is open for lunch, dinner, and late-night drinks.

Bibibop Asian Grill

Overland Park is now the home of not one, but two Bibibop Asian Grills. Stop by one of these two new locations and take your stomach on a trip to South Korea. Enjoy their menu inspired by bibimbap, a South Korean staple. Not sure what to expect? Imagine Chipotle but with fresh, South Korean ingredients such as purple rice, bean sprouts, wasabi, and kimchi.

Church Basement Ladies

Starting on February 5th, head to The New Theatre Restaurant and catch Cindy Williams in “Church Basement Ladies.” This musical comedy will transport you to a church basement where you really get to know some of the hilarious antics that go on down there. This musical runs from February 5th – April 12th.
