New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, but that doesn’t mean it is too late to start planning how you celebrate. There is still plenty of time to book a hotel room in Overland Park and get tickets to one of the many parties in town.

Where it all goes down: The Culinary Center of Kansas City in Downtown Overland Park
Party starts at: 6:30 p.m.
It will cost you: $125/person (or $250/couple). Each ticket includes a cooking class experience with the Executive Chef, four-course dinner, one alcoholic beverage, champagne
Kick off the New Year with new culinary skills after indulging in this eat-and-learn evening event.

 

Where it all goes down: One Block South
Party starts at: 8:00 p.m.
It will cost you: $20/person. This ticket gets you in at One Block South, which features DJ Danny Maloney, Stolen Winnebagos, and DJ Chris Hernandez.

 

Where it all goes down: Topgolf
Party starts at: 9 p.m. but doors will open at 8:30 p.m.
It will cost you: $225 to rent one bay, which holds up to six guests. Each bay reservation includes unlimited gameplay from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., live entertainment, a midnight fireworks display and party favors. Or rent a VIP bay for $450 (up to six guests) and add access to a “NYE Feast” dinner buffet and a bottle of bubbly for the group.
Count down to 2019 with four hours of teeing off and target aiming at Topgolf. A midnight fireworks display caps off this group-friendly event.

 

Where it all goes down: Clint’s Comedy Stop
Party starts at: 10:00 p.m.
It will cost you: $45 plus fees.  This gets you in the door to Clint’s Comedy Stop for 2 hours’ worth of laughs.
Laugh your way into 2019 with the famous Australian comedian, Tim Bateman and KC comedian, Elliott Threatt.

 

Where it all goes down: Pinstripes at Prairiefire
Party starts at: 9:00 a.m.
It will cost you: $5-$25 depending on age. Your ticket gets you valet parking, bowling, access to a dance party, a pizza buffet, a milk and cookie toast, and a balloon drop.
Celebrate this NYE with the kids and celebrate with an early balloon drop… at noon.

 

Where it all goes down: Pinstripes
Party starts at: 7:30 p.m.
It will cost you: Free. Admission to Pinstripes for the balloon drop is free, but you may want to make dinner and bocce reservations to really enjoy your evening.
Start stretching out your throwing arm for a mean game of bocce. There is no better way to ring in the new year.
