Monarchs: Brown and Native Artists in the Path of the Butterfly uses the migration path that a monarch butterfly uses both in reference to the geography, as well as a metaphor. This features work from 41 artists that pull from their ancestry and culture to create their work.
The art is located inside the Nerman Museum of Contemparary Art on the Johnson County Community College campus. It is free and open during the hours listed below.
