When that career stalled, he pivoted to stand-up comedy, a move that took him around the world and improbably back to television as host of the nationally syndicated show Cruise-In.

Bill’s stand-up blends self-awareness, reinvention, and dry wit, drawing from a life that includes radio stations, TV stations, cruise ships, and even Pennsylvania prisons.
