There’s no shortage of racquet sports courts in Overland Park. Pickleball is often said to be a cross between tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s played on a smaller court than tennis or racquetball. Chicken N Pickle offers indoor and outdoor pickleball. The courts must be reserved. Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, Matt Ross Community Center, Blue Valley Recreation Center at Hilltop, and the Jewish Community Center offers indoor courts. You’ll also find outdoor pickleball courts around the city on a first come-first serve basis. Hickory Hills Park, Roe Park and Switzer Park are popular parks with pickleball.
