The most exciting experience in pickleball is coming to Overland Park!
From September 17–20, 2026, the APP Overland Park Open takes over AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in one of America’s most pickleball-obsessed cities.
Pickleball is kind of a big dill in Overland Park.
If you know, you know. And if you don't, the APP Overland Park Open is the perfect opportunity to discover what all the hype is about.
What is the APP Overland Park?
The APP Overland Park Open is an official stop on the Association of Pickleball Players tour, bringing four days of competition, community fun, and plenty of pickleball.
One of the best parts about this tournament is that amateur players are just as welcome as professionals. This tour attracts players of all skill levels, ages 8 to 88.
Attendees will be able to see elite professional pickleball players compete live, and even have the chance to meet the pros and get an autograph.
Beyond the matches, there's fun for everyone with food, music, vendors, giveaways, family activities, and entertainment.

For Players
No matter where you fall on the DUPR scale, there's a division in the tournament for you.
Registration Pricing
All players start with an $85 player entry fee. From there, the cost depends on the division you enter:
- Amateur Division: $40
- Pro Division: $160
- AARP Champions Pro Division: $140
- AARP Masters Pro Division: $120
What you need to register
USA Pickleball Membership
This is a USA Pickleball sanctioned event, so all players must have a current Challenger or Champion level membership.
Memberships start at $12 a year, and come with some great benefits.
You'll need to include your membership number in your player profile, so keep it handy!
Pickleball Den Account
When you click register on the 2026 APP Overland Park Open page, you'll be taken straight to Pickleball Den to login or create an account.
This is the platform the APP uses to manage their tournaments.
DUPR Rating
Connect your DUPR account to your profile.
This will help make sure you get placed in the best bracket for your skill level.
Pick Your Bracket
Once connected, you'll see what brackets are available to you. Want to play singles or doubles? This is where you choose!
If you select doubles, you'll be able to invite a partner in the next step.
Confirm & Pay
Finally, confirm your information and enter your payment details.
Payment is due in full at registration.
For Spectators
Not a pickleball player? Not a problem.
The experience is as much fun for spectators as it is for players.
Try the game out yourself on pop up courts, explore the vendor village, and cheer on the players. There'll be food and drink, official merchandise, and giveaways too.
Daily Ticket Prices
- General Admission: $26
- VIP Experience: $151
- Children (13 and under): $11
A general admission ticket will get you into the event and put you in the stands for all the matches.
Upgrade to the VIP experience for VIP seating, access to an exclusive VIP area, plus light bites and beverages.
