Coffee & Roasteries
Like Overland Park and Kansas City’s flourishing brewery and distillery scene, locally roasted coffee is in the midst of a boom throughout the area. Whether you want to start your day with a fresh, locally brewed cup; stop in a coffee shop for a relaxing mid-afternoon break or take home a bag (or three) of beans or grounds to savor at home, a number of delicious options await.
Ethiopian-owned Revocup, located in south Overland Park, roasts their beans on-site and offers several varieties of fresh-roasted coffees around the world, as well as a tasty lunch menu. A little further south, you'll find Pilgrim Coffee. Get there early! It's a popular spot that offer seasonal coffees. And even further south is Jinkies! Coffee and Hangout. This coffee shop is all-things 70s (and female-owned too)!
Downtown OP's coffee scene is thriving! Homer's Coffee has been a Downtown OP staple for so long that their Mexican Mocha is practically famous. You can catch late-night concerts on the weekends there too. And not far from Homer's is Parisi Coffee. Parisi makes fantastic espressos and provides a bright, open patio that provides some good people-watching during the Overland Park Farmers' Market.
