Mother’s Day Brunch Bash at Aubrey Vineyards
Spending Mother’s Day at a winery… What could be better? This year, Aubrey Vineyards has teamed up with Holy Brunch KC to host a Mother’s Day Brunch Bash from 12 PM to 4 PM.
You'll feel like you've left Overland Park and arrived in Napa as you drive through the vineyard, secluded from the lights and sounds of the city. While you’re there, you can build your own custom brunch box and taste some of the best wine in all of Kansas City. 🍷
And that’s not all! Starting at 1PM, Nick Nave will be performing live music on the patio for guests to enjoy as they sip, savor and celebrate the moms in their life.
Bouquet Workshop at Strang Reserve
Not able to celebrate on Sunday? Don’t fret! Head over to Strang Reserve on Thursday, May 9, from 6 PM to 8 PM for Petals & Pasteries: A Mother’s & Girls Day Out. 💐
Tickets are $130 and include a designer-led floral arranging class by Wild Hill Flowers, sweet treats from Kate Smith Soireé, a drink ticket, a photo booth, and access to other incredible vendors.
If you work up an appetite, head next door to Strang Hall afterwards and you’ll receive 15% off your meal. Who wouldn't want to start Mother's Day weekend with a full belly and a stunning bouquet of flowers?
Mother's Day Shopping Event at Painted Tree Boutiques
Who's ready to shop 'til you drop? 🛍️ Leave the kiddos at home and spend the Saturday before Mother's Day at Painted Tree's Mother's Day Shopping Event! Prepare to be dazzled by the array of shops showcasing everything from home decor to unique fashion finds, all lovingly curated by local artisans and small business owners.
Whether you’re in need of a last-minute gift, a girls day out, or just some me time, join Painted Tree for light refreshments, live music, flower giveaways, and shopping on Saturday, May 11, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Mother’s Day Celebration at Chicken N Pickle
As if Chicken N Pickle wasn’t already one of my favorite family-friendly spots in OP, there’s even more fun to be had there on Mother’s Day!
For starters, they’re offering a Brunch & Mimosa Bar from 10AM to 2PM. Your kids will love the classic breakfast dishes, and you’ll love the customizable mimosas. 🥂
If you’re feeling competitive, Chicken N Pickle is hosting a Volley Mama Pickleball Tournament! Grab a friend and register as a team. Both players receive a free mimosa and are in the running for the grand prize.
Not trying to break a sweat on your big day? No worries! Chicken N Pickle also offers shuffleboard, cornhole, bocce ball, ping pong, and yard games. As long as the Midwest weather cooperates, you’re sure to have a blast soaking up the sun and spending quality time together as a family.
Mother's Day Out at Very Well KC
This one is for my active mamas! 💪 Start Mother's Day out by breaking a sweat at Very Well KC's Mother's Day Out.
The morning will kick off at 10 AM with a Pilates class led by instructor Jenny Schmidt. Afterwards, you can indulge in a light brunch and a DIY Floral Bouquet class. You won't want to miss out on this fun-filled morning! Entry is $55 per person, or two people for $100 and you can register here.
MotheCraftPuttr’s Day at Craft Putt
If you haven’t been to Craft Putt yet, this is the perfect day to check it out because mom’s play free on Mother’s Day! ⛳
As long as your family tells the Craft Putt team that their mom is the best, you’ll get the chance to beat them in a game of putt-putt at no cost to you! That’s a win-win, if you ask me. Head to Pinstripes to celebrate Mother's Day at their brunch buffet from 10 AM to 3 PM. Your kids will love the waffle making station and sweets table, and you'll love the bottomless cocktails. 🍊 Plus, each mom will get a complimentary Mom-osa!
The buffet costs $32 for adults, $12 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids under five.
Mother’s Day Buffet at Barley’s Kitchen + Tap
Treat yourself to a dining experience just as special as you are with the Mother’s Day Buffet at Barley’s Kitchen + Tap from 9 AM to 2 PM.
The lineup includes a prime rib carving station, smoked ham, shrimp cocktail, house-smoked salmon, classic breakfast dishes, and more. 🍳 If you’re thirsty, they’ll be serving up breakfast cocktails, beermosas, bloody marys, and bottomless mimosas.
The buffet costs $40 for adults, $18 for kids ages 4 to 11, and free for kids under three.
With so many great options to spend the day, it’s almost impossible to decide how I should celebrate the day with my family. No matter what we choose to go with, I’m just so excited to know that Overland Park offers so many ways for me to spend the day with the ones who made me a momma!
