Topgolf is hosting a late-night celebration that the whole family can enjoy. One ticket is $385 and covers up to six players, which breaks down to about $65 per person.
Your group gets unlimited gameplay from 9 PM to 1 AM, a live DJ, buffet access, late-night bites, desserts delivered to your bay, unlimited fountain drinks, and a midnight toast for guests 21+.
Guests 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Ring in 2026 EARLY at Dave & Buster's
Wednesday, December 31 | 4PM - 7PM
You don't need to wait until midnight to ring in the new year! Celebrate early at Dave & Buster's Family-Friendly NYE Event and get the kids to bed on time.
Tickets to the event are $33.79/each and include unlimited video game play, top tier entertainment and lots & lots of toasts! You can purchase your tickets online.
Wonder Eve at Wonderscope Children's Museum
Wednesday, December 31 | 9AM - 12PM
What better way to ring in the NOON year than with crafts, face painting, balloon artists and a confetti celebration!?
Wonder Eve at Wonderscope Children's Museum has all of that and more! They will be open until noon on December 31, closing immediately after the confetti celebration.
This event is free to attend with admission, admission ranges from $14-16 and should be purchased at the door.
Noon Years Eve at SERV
Wednesday, December 31 | 10AM - 2PM
Get ready for an afternoon of family fun at SERV! Enjoy $5 kids open skating (ages 12& under), a build-your-own-tot station, a noon countdown and indoor balloon drop. Plus, kids can access the pancake bar with the purchase of an adult entree.
This event is free to attend, but there will be opportunities to purchase food and beverages.
Zoo Year's Eve
Wednesday, December 31 | 10AM - 12PM
Roar in the new year at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium! This year, they're kicking off the party early with a countdown to noon!
To celebrate Zoo Year's Eve, a few of the animals will even be receiving special themed enrichment.
This event is free with admission, which costs between $19 and $22.
Noon Year's Eve at Science City
Wednesday, December 31 | 12PM - 6PM
Throughout December 31, Science City is hosting their Noon Year's Eve extravaganza!
The schedule is packed with exciting crafts and events, such as making pompom poppers, learning how donuts are made, recycling materials to make instruments, and more. There will also be races, board games, face painting, a magician, live music and a science show!
The day will end with a Balloon Bash & Balloon Drop at 5:30PM. This event is free with admission which is $17 per person.
Adults-Only Events (21+)
Pistol Annie's 3rd Annual New Year's Eve Party
Wednesday, December 31 | 7PM - 2AM
Are you ready to boot-scootin' boogie? If so, get gussied up for Pistol Annie's 3rd Annual New Year's Eve Party at Guitars and Cadillacs!
Doors open at 7PM for early entry and 8PM for general admission and reserved seating. Isaac Cole, a talented Nashville band, will be performing twice: once starting at 8:30PM and once starting at 10:15PM.
Tickets range between $30-60 and should be purchased ahead of time online.
Buon Anno! An Italian New Year’s Eve Dinner
Wednesday, December 31 | 6PM - 9PM
Celebrate the New Year with an intimate, chef-driven dinner experience at the Culinary Center of Kansas City.
This adults-only evening features a seven-course Italian-inspired menu, a Prosecco toast, and a front-row seat to live cooking demonstrations. Guests will be able to create their own antipasto kabobs, followed by being served seven beautifully executed courses and festive cocktails.
Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased online.
New Year's Eve Show at Clint's Comedy Club
Wednesday, December 31 | 9:30PM - 1AM
Start 2026 with something unforgettable: laughter that lasts long after the ball drops! For over 40 years, Elliott Threatt has entertained audiences across all 50 states and 6 countries.
On New Year's Eve, he'll be performing at Clint's Comedy Club at 9:30 PM.

Ring in the New Year at McGregor's
Wednesday, December 31 | 8:30PM - 12AM
Close out the year with dinner, drinks and live music at McGregor's Butcher & Bistro.
Enjoy New Year’s Eve specials like prime rib, tableside desserts, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, plus live music by Ron Gutierrez from 8:30 PM to midnight.
The evening also introduces a professional mixologist serving custom cocktails designed around your taste and mood.
Celebrate NYE at Dave & Buster's
Wednesday, December 31 | 4:30PM - 1AM
New Year’s Eve goes full throttle during the Late Night Celebration at Dave & Buster's Overland Park.
This 21+ event brings together unlimited arcade play, immersive games, great food, specialty drinks, and a midnight countdown packed with cheers and party energy.
Doors open at 9 PM, with the celebration running through 1 AM. Tickets range from $70-100 and can be purchased online.
Mikey Needleman Band Live at BrewTop
Wednesday, December 31 | 9PM - 2AM
The Mikey Needleman Band is bringing a high-energy live show to BrewTop on New Year's Eve.
Drinks will be flowing, the kitchen will be open, and the dance floor will come alive as the clock strikes midnight.
The restaurant will be open from 11AM to 2AM on Wednesday, December 31, with the band going live at 9PM. A cover charge of $5-10 will be required.
New Year's Eve with Superstar Mafia
Wednesday, December 31 | 9PM - 2AM
Do you love cover bands? Then head to The Kingdom Bar and Grille for a night of live music by Superstar Mafia, right up until the ball drops with a champagne toast at midnight.
The party kicks off at 9PM and there is a $5 cover for the evening, but you're sure to get your money's worth in dancing and drinks.
