Bring dad (and his many dad jokes) to Overland Park for Father's Day! We love dad jokes. Celebrate dad with beer, golf, food, and sunshine in Overland Park! When you get here, don't forget to tell dad when you're hungry so he can say "hi, hungry. I'm dad." We told you we love dad jokes.

For the golfer Dad, head to Overland Park’s public course, Lady Sykes. Dad is sure to enjoy a round on the beautiful park-like 27-hole regulation and 9-hole par 3 courses. Head to Club 27 Restaurant for lunch or dinner. Just make sure you call ahead or get online to book a tee time. Or take dad to the tree-lined St. Andrews Golf Club for some serious Ozark vibes. If stationary golf is more his thing, Topgolf is a no brainer for Father’s Day.

Brew Lab is Overland Park's playground for craft beer lovers. Brew Lab has everything you need to make at-home brew. If letting the pros handle the brewing is more his style, you can sample local creations with lunch or dinner in their dining room. Martin City is also a great spot for grabbing a few fantastic local brewskies. Order a pizza! Trust us -- there's nothing better. Dads love wineries too -- Aubrey Vineyards is celebrating dads at the beautiful winery in south Overland Park. Got a dad that really loves bourbon? Overland Park's newest bourbon bar, Zephyr, has the largest selection of bourbon in the area.

Nothing says I love you quite like the smoky and satisfying aroma of a Overland Park famous barbecue joint. Give the grill master Dad the night off by visiting one. BBQ is serious business here and you really can’t go wrong with any spot, but we’ve put together our favorites here.

There's plenty to do on any summer weekend in Overland Park, but especially on Father's Day weekend! Downtown Overland Park is celebrating Third Fridays with a car show on June 17th. The evening event is free for all and there will be live music and, as always, great food in Downtown OP. The festivals don't stop in OP! Prairiefire is celebrating Juneteenth with a parade, speakers, poets and dancers. Join in for a day of unity, education, and celebration of Juneteenth! There will be plenty of photo ops with dad and the kids too -- vendor booths, bounce houses, a fire truck, face painting, KC Wolf and carnival games!

Southlake Park is a great destination for Dads looking for a relaxing day. There are basketball courts, fishing, walking trails, grills and picnic spots and even playgrounds to keep the kids busy. Weather permitting, he can spend a relaxing day enjoying your good company and some good old fashioned fun at the park.

Whatever his nature, Overland Park has a perfect place you can show your love to your dad by spending the most important thing on him -- quality time. And dad jokes.
