Tiki Taco
Overview
The Overland Park location will have a walk-up window and patio serving sweet chili shrimp tacos, jackfruit tacos, nachos, surf ‘n turf burritos and more, as well as a bar serving margaritas, pina coladas and other cocktails. The restaurant is known for what it calls “California flavors with touches of Polynesian and Thai mixed with Mexico.” Tiki Taco makes five different types of salsa and serves up burritos stuffed with ingredients that include French fries. Another perk is that the restaurant partnered with Yoli Tortilleria, which won a James Beard Award in 2023. QSR Magazine just named Tiki Taco to it’s “hottest start-up fast casuals” list. The shortlist includes 40 restaurants across the country. Tiki Taco is the only one that is headquartered in the Kansas City area.
