DRINK WELL MORE OFTEN! That’s our motto at Vintage ’78, a timeless wine bar located in the heart of bustling Downtown Overland Park. We offer a refined casual dining experience where elevated wine bar bites are served alongside craveable American classics in a chic and lively, yet intimate atmosphere. Our goal is to provide a world–class wine experience that is fun and accessible for our guests and to create an inviting neighborhood space to enjoy some of life’s little indulgences. Vintage ’78 Wine Bar features one of the largest selections of wine-by-the-glass in the Midwest, serving incremental pour sizes and flights as well as fantastic charcuterie and artisan cheese offered a la carte. With the help of our knowledgeable staff, there are so many ways our guests can enjoy unforgettable experiences time and time again. We look forward to seeing you! On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Vintage ’78 will be closed to the general public so the space can be used for wine-tasting classes, as well as other private events. We were awarded a Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator in the Summer of 2023, a Three Star Award and Jury Prize from the World’s Best Wine Lists in early 2024, and a Star Wine List Award in Spring of 2024.
