Overview
The United States has a rich culture surrounding pine needle baskets. From indigenous tribes, to African American culture, to post-colonial and modern uses, we see these baskets throughout our history.
In this class, we will learn the basics of making a coiled basket with pine needles, a skill which can be transferred to twines and other foraged materials.
The price per student includes all class materials. Ages 12 and up.
