The easiest way to get around Overland Park is by car. You can get from the north side of OP to the south end in less than 30 minutes as highway alt-69 runs through the middle of Overland Park.

Overland Park is centrally located within the Kansas City Metro and within about a 20-minute drive of most Kansas City experiences. Interstates and highways cut through the city providing easy access to must-see attractions and event sites. Ride sharing services in Overland Park and the greater Metro Area include Uber and Lyft.

Eight RideKC routes serve Overland Park. The 403, one of the most popular routes in Overland Park, runs from Johnson County Community College to 75th Street in just approximately 20 minutes.

The city has more than 800 miles of sidewalks and the best areas to walk around and shop or eat are Prairiefire District and Downtown Overland Park.
