Visit Overland Park Taps Warren Wilkinson As New President

Overland Park, KS – Visit Overland Park, Overland Park’s official destination marketing organization has welcomed Warren R. Wilkinson as the organization’s new President.
Wilkinson has significant travel and tourism leadership experience having served as Chief Marketing Officer for Choose Chicago and Visit Indy as well as leading the travel and tourism practices at Mbuy and Barkley. In his new role as President, the tourism veteran will be responsible for leading the organization’ mission to drive increased overnight visitor spending in Overland Park by developing and enhancing the city’s destination brand.
“Warren is an experienced and proven leader in our industry,” said Darren Chadwick, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Visit Overland Park. “We are very fortunate to have selected a senior executive with the industry experience, knowledge and vision to lead Visit Overland Park into the future.”

As President of Visit Overland Park, Wilkinson will lead efforts to promote the second-largest city in Kansas – and the largest suburban city in the Kansas City metro – as an attractive travel destination.
