Trick or Treat in Downtown OP
Get ready to BOO-gie at Trick or Treat in Downtown OP! On Saturday, October 26 from 1 to 3 PM, kids are invited to show off their best costumes and collect sweet treats from participating local shops. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way for little ones to enjoy some Halloween fun while exploring the bustling streets of Downtown Overland Park. Don’t forget to stop by the Clock Tower Plaza, where a DJ will be spinning a "Monster Mash" soundtrack to keep everyone dancing and in the spooky spirit!
Bring the whole family to Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead for Night of the Living Farm on October 18, 19, 25 and 26 from 5:30 to 9 PM. Offering a mix of spooky and not-so-spooky fun for all ages, the event will offer kids the opportunity to watch mad scientist experiments, roast marshmallows, get their fortune read, and experience scary and fright-free hayrides. They can also compete in obstacle courses, pirate ship races and a flashlight scavenger hunt. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased here. Children 2 and under are free and don’t require a ticket.
Mosey on down to Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead for Pumpkin Hollow all October long! Bring the whole family to explore the hay pyramid, giant slide, spider web maze, and enjoy other old-fashioned activities before picking your pumpkin to take home. This event runs October 1-31. Admission is $5 for ages 3+, Pumpkin Hollow tickets are an additional $10 per person and can be purchased here.
BRKTHROUGH's Carn-Evil
Step right up to the spine-tingling spectacle of Carn-Evil at BRKTHROUGH, taking place October 16-31! It’s a ghoulishly delightful adventure for all ages, packed with ghostly fun and creepy surprises around every corner. Pricing starts at $29.99 per person for 2-hour admission. Adults-Only Adventures
For an evening of suspense and intrigue, head to the The New Theatre & Restaurant for An Old-Fashioned Family Murder. Emmy and Golden Globe winner Sally Struthers stars in this gripping 1942 murder mystery, where a young detective and his mother must uncover the identity of a killer lurking in a mansion full of suspects. Tickets start at $44 and can be purchased here. Children ages 7 and older are welcome to attend.
Haunted Glow Golf
Over at Craft Putt, they are lighting up the mini golf course on October 25 for a night of glow-in-the-dark, eerie fun! Haunted Glow Golf runs from 8 PM to midnight, so grab a friend and come play your way through the glowing course. This is a 21+ event and pricing is $12 per person.
