If you’re anything like me, St. Patrick’s Day is one of your favorite days to celebrate. Getting decked out in green, celebrating the beginning of some warmer weather, and enjoying great drinks and delicious food themed around the holiday.
So of course, finding some fun places to celebrate the holiday with themed drinks and food is always at the top of my to-do list. Lucky for all of us, Overland Park has some fun and unique spots to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
Downtown Overland Park
Everyone needs a little Luck ‘O the Irish! Start the St. Patrick’s weekend off Saturday, March 16 at the Downtown Overland Park’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This family-friendly event kicks off at 10 am, featuring marching bands, drill teams, Irish dancers and costumed performers.
The parade route will start at 79th and Floyd, and then will head west on 79th St. to Santa Fe Dr. It will head south on Santa Fe Dr., concluding at Robinson Street.
After the parade, continue the celebration with a bite and a pint or two at one of the several Downtown OP restaurants.
SERV
SERV is hosting a full weekend fun - Get SERVed: A St. Patty’s Weekend Celebration. Enjoy games, food, games, live music and more MArch 15 - March 17. Not only does this give you plenty of time to check out the festivities, but it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some sunshine.
Plus, with multiple game options and plenty of outdoor space, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy with the family and give the littles space to run around and enjoy the fun!
Barley’s Kitchen + Tap
At Barley’s, you don’t have to wait until March 17th to start celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Barley’s Kitchen + Tap is serving up Irish flavors and liquid gold with their themed menu all week long, from March 11 - March 17.
Then on St. Patrick’s Day they’ll have an all day celebration with raffles, specials like $6 reuben egg rolls, $5 jello shots, $4-$6 beer cans and even live music!
Craft Putt
Looking for some fun with your food and drink? Craft Putt is the perfect spot for that! They’ll have drink specials like green beer and the Paddy Par-Tee Cocktail for you to enjoy while you have some competitive fun with your friends playing a round of indoor putt putt.

If a pub crawl is more of the vibe you’re looking for, heading to Rock & Brews for the Prairiefire Pub Crawl is the event for you to check out Sunday, March 17th.
