Hawktoberfest at Bluhawk
This annual fall festival brings a mix of activities and Halloween treats to Bluhawk in south Overland Park on Saturday, October 10 from 1:00 - 4:00pm.
A hayride connects the festival with AdventHealth Sports Park, where the first 1,000 kids can receive a trick-or-treat bag and take part in a Candy Crawl.
Families can enjoy inflatables, a foam party, face painting, magic, live music, fire performances, and more!
Oktoberfest at Prairiefire
Oktoberfest turns Prairiefire into a fall block party bringing family-friendly activities right into the streets on Saturday, October 10 from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
Make your way through the free festival and explore hands-on crafts like pumpkin decorating and friendship bracelets, games and activities including bouncy houses and a cake walk, plus live entertainment from a magician, face painting, a petting zoo and more.
Pumpkin Hollow
Mosey on down to Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead for a day of non-spooky fall fun on select days during September and October.
Kids will love the horse-drawn hayride, racing on the pedal car track, winding through the spider maze, and trying their hand at Slingshot Alley.
Don't forget to pick a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch before you home!
Tickets are $10-$15 per person (or $9 for Friends of the Farmstead members) and include admission to the farmstead plus Pumpkin Hollow activities.
Night Of The Living Farm
Night of the Living Farm takes over Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead on a few select nights in October.
Kids can watch mad scientist experiments, roast marshmallows, find their way through the scarecrow maze, and experience scary or fright-free hayrides.
Tickets are $15 (or $14 for Friends of the Farmstead members) and must be purchased online.

Trick or Treat in Downtown Overland Park
This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way for little ones to enjoy some Halloween fun while trick or treating in Downtown Overland Park.
Saturday, October 24 from 2pm to 4pm, kids are invited to show off their costumes and collect treats from participating local businesses.

Hopps & Haunts Beer Dinner
Raise a glass to Halloween on October 13 at 5:30pm at Hopps & Haunts, a five-course beer dinner at Barley's Kitchen & Tap.
The restaurant is teaming up with Limitless Brewing for an evening featuring five courses paired with five beers, all for $60 per person.
The night begins with a mix-and-mingle at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m.

Two Guys & a Ghoul at Clint's Comedy Club
Looking for Halloween entertainment with more laughs than scares?

Dink or Treat Pickleball Tournament
Grab your pickleball partner and get ready for a Halloween showdown at Chicken N Pickle on Saturday, October 31 from 10:00am - 12:30pm.
Dink or Treat brings together pickleball, costumes, and a little friendly competition. Players of all skill levels are welcome to compete in a round-robin tournament followed by single-elimination matches.
Entry fee for a team of 2 is $40.

Moonlight Mixer at Dave & Buster's
Trade the trick-or-treat bags for arcade games at Dave & Buster's Moonlight Mixer on Saturday, October 31 from 7:00 - 10:00pm.
This adults-only Halloween party features three hours of unlimited gameplay on eligible games, a Halloween-themed food banquet, music, and a costume contest.

Disco Halloween Gala
Dust off your disco-inspired costume and get ready for a Halloween night on the dance floor Saturday, October 31 from 7:30pm to 1:00am.
The Cabaret Arts & Social Theatre of Kansas City's Disco Halloween celebration combines a disco gala and costume party with a fundraiser benefiting Friends in the Service of Heroes.
Tickets start at $30, and a VIP all-inclusive evening pass is available for $100.
