The Kansas Speedway broke ground in May 1999 and the inaugural race of the ARCA RE/MAX (now ARCA Menards Series) began in June of 2001. The Speedway hosts the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the Indy Racing League, as well as multiple concerts and the American Royal over the years.

Bordering the Speedway with a great view of the races is Hollywood Casino. In 2022, the state of Kansas passed a law and legalized sports betting and Hollywood Casino has designated a new sportsbook section for all your sports betting needs.
