Named after the founder of Overland Park, Strang Hall in Downtown OP offers the happiest of happy hours at its bar with $4 domestic cans, $5 wells, $7 glasses of house wine, $8 signature cocktails and $28 bottles of wine. With food hall style seating and multiple kitchens and cuisines to choose from, Strang Hall is a good pick if you've got a big group.
Brew Lab Brewery + Kitchen
Mon-Fri: 2 - 6 PM
Sunday: All Day
Every week day and all day Sunday, Brew Lab has $2 off house brews and house cocktails and $6-13 small plates like their street tacos and pretzel bites. Make sure to see what events they have going on, because your happy hour could easily stretch into the night with trivia or live music.

A local favorite for 30 years, Barley's Kitchen + Tap boasts the largest draft beer selection in Kansas with 99 taps. During happy hour, catch $5 pints and wells, $7 house wine and $9 specialty cocktails. Named "Best Brew Pub in Kansas City" in 2024, happy hours at Martin City Brewing Company are the perfect chance to try their craft pints for $4.50 and an 8 inch stone-fired pizza for $8. Their happy hour menu has a few fun surprises too, like $6.50 sangria and stuffed garlic cheese bread for $7.50.
Garozzo's
Mon-Fri: 2 - 5 PM
Family-owned Garozzo's Ristorante became famous for their Chicken Spiedini, now a KC favorite for over 30 years. During happy hour get $2 off cocktails and wine by the glass, or $3.50 drafts of Boulevard Wheat. Plus, get a taste of authentic Italian when you order off the happy hour small plates menu (try the Patatine!).
J. Gilbert's

At J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood, happy hour turns into the finest hour, where domestic bottled beers are $4, craft & import beers are $5.50, and seasonal & signature cocktails are $8.50. They also offer $8-10 glasses of wine and $9-12 appetizers. Don't miss out on ordering oysters on the half shell for $2.50 each!

This indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar overlooks the Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club, making Club 27 the place to go for happy hour with a view. Pair the view with $4-5 draft beers, $5-7 wells, $7 glasses of house wine, and $3 off all cocktails and martinis. The starters range from $7-10 and you have to try the whipped feta spinach dip.

Happy hour is a great time to visit this local favorite, family-owned restaurant in Prairiefire. Going all in on comfort food at its finest, happy hour specials at The Brass Onion include $2 off signature cocktails, $6 wells, $6 glasses of wine, $2.50 domestic bottles and cans, and $4 drafts. Smaller bites are available for $7-8, including the legendary Brass Onion Dip with caramelized onions.
YaYa's Euro Bistro

With an eclectic menu inspired by a mix of American, French, Italian and Greek cuisines, the daily happy hour specials at YaYa's Euro Bistro can please the whole group. $3 domestic bottles, $5 well cocktails, $6 glasses of wine, $8 select cocktails and $7 martinis.
