If you have time before the games begin, hit Snooze for delicious breakfast and brunch. Snooze is famous for their six different signature Egg Benedicts. They’re also known for their pancakes – check out their pancake of the week. Snooze is first come, first serve. You can add your name to the waitlist online and they will text you when your table is ready.
The Big Biscuit
Biscuits are good but big biscuits are better. The Big Biscuit began in neighboring city, Prairie Village, and has expanded throughout the region. Can’t decide what to get? Fuel up on its namesake -- the award-winning biscuits and gravy. The Big Biscuit has an online waitlist you can add yourself to.
The Shack
This beloved breakfast and brunch spot started in St. Louis and has made its way to Overland Park. Specializing in brunch, Shack is open 7 days a week. Stop in for creative menu items such as: Not Really a Benedict, Starchy & Cluck, Ma...The Meatloaf, Why the French Hate Us, and more fun menu names. Scheels Ginna’s Café
Big snack or little snack, Ginna’s is located inside Scheels Sporting Goods Store and features a large menu of soups, salads, sandwiches and daily specials. The café also offers a wide selection of fudge and gelato! Parents -- grab a coffee to-go! Ginna’s serves an exclusive Scheels roast with a menu including specialty hot and cold drinks.
Yogurtini
Nothing hits the spot in between games better than some FroYo. At Yogurtini, you’ll find up to 16 featured frozen yogurt flavors and more than 65 toppings. It’s self-serve so you can add as little or as much as you want. Yogurtini has plenty of seating inside and outside to bring the team to gather.
Tad’s Shaved Ice
When the heat is on, Tad’s Shaved Ice the place to be. Tad's is a great spot to cool off after a hot, summer day at the fields. Tad’s Shaved Ice offers hundreds of flavors to choose from. And true to the name, the ice is shaved giving a light, fluffy sweet treat. Tad’s is a walk-up, free-standing building located in HyVee’s parking lot. Tad's is a seasonal business, please check days and hours.
Coach’s Bar and Grill
Coach’s is a family-friendly bar and grill that serves great comfort food. Inside you’ll find sports memorabilia lining the walls. Coach’s has one of the best rooftop patios in the city so be sure to check out the view. They also have the popular fireplace room which provides a laid-back atmosphere during the cooler months.
Fortune Wok
Fortune Wok has been serving Chinese and Asian food in Overland Park since 2001. The food is made-to-order and cooked with the best ingredients by skilled and experienced chefs. So when Sweet and Sour Chicken or Mongolian Beef sounds good, Fortune Wok is not far away. Order ahead online for even faster service.
