The Overland Park Farmers' Market

The Best Farmer's Market in the Nation, the Overland Park Farmers’ Market, continues to bring the farm to your family table in Downtown Overland Park. Shop a wide variety of products including seasonal produce, hot food trucks, the best-picked flowers, and unique specialty items such as soaps, breads, wine, and pastas. Chat up the vendors, too! They are full of feel-good family stories and will educate you about their products. The OP Farmers' Market is open every Saturday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. And every Wednesday mornings beginning June 1st.

Strang Hall's Beer Fest

Grab your beer-lover friends and get a ticket to Strang Hall's 3rd Annual Beer Fest on July 15th from 3 PM to 6 PM. Enjoy beers from 11 area breweries, live music, and a tasting cup to take home. Your ticket also includes endless appetizer tastings from all six kitchens inside Strang Hall plus 20% off food. Santa's Rock The Block

Prairiefire Summer Music Series

Head to Prairiefire for free live music concerts throughout the summer! Enjoy some of KC’s greatest bands every Thursday from 7-10pm May 25th - September 1st outside at Prairiefire in the Entertainment District. Take in the music while you enjoy some of the best food and patios in Overland Park!

Third Fridays in Downtown Overland Park

On the third Friday of every month, the locally owned shops and restaurants of Downtown OP keep their doors open late for you to check out everything from live music and gallery openings to spa treatments and sales. The best way to tackle the event is to hit the sidewalk and explore. Third Fridays happens on the third Friday of every month from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Star Spangled Spectacular

Join the City of Overland Park for a fireworks display at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park celebrating America! Enjoy an evening of free entertainment and fireworks. Food trucks will be onsite for purchases. Visitors can enter Corporate Woods Founders’ Park at any time on the holiday.

Stems: A Garden Soirée

Stems is a garden party at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens on June 24th. Enjoy the warm evening sipping wine, tasting food from the area's top restaurants and caterers, enjoy, art, music, and fireworks. Proceeds from Stems: A Garden Soirée ensure that The Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park can continue to support and develop Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, and city art installations. 

The Downtown OP Art Fair

It's a summer art party in Downtown OP! The streets will be shut down to allow open consumption. The Downtown OP Art Fair will be on June 23rd through June 24^th. Enjoy great food, live music, and browse some fantastic pieces of art from over 100 local artists The local artists will be handpicked by Interurban ArtHouse, Images Art Gallery, PrairieBrooke, and Downtown Overland Park. You can enjoy art, live music, and the shopping the shop of charming Downtown Overland Park. 

Christmas Con

Christmas Con, a national holiday-themed convention, is coming to Overland Park. From June 9 to 11, Christmas fans will be able to stroll the convention’s holiday market, take photos with Santa and meet celebrities from their favorite made-for-TV holiday rom-coms at the Overland Park Convention Center.

Enchanted Faire at the OP Arboretum

Got the kids in tow? Get our your best fairy wings and fly down to the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens on Friday June 2nd and Saturday June 3rd! Seriously -- wear a costume! It's a magical time with gnomes, fairies, and sprites in the gardens! You'll find treats, entertainment, and lots of photo ops! Admission is $6 for this event.
