Visit Overland Park Launches New Website in Advance of Peak Travel Period 



OVERLAND PARK, KS – Visit Overland Park has unveiled a brand-new website for the popular Midwest destination as part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote Overland Park as a top choice for leisure travelers, sporting events rights holders, groups, meetings and event planners. Developed in collaboration with Simpleview — the leading digital solutions provider for the Destination Marketing industry — the new website enhances the trip- and event-planning process to benefit the Overland Park hospitality community and generate economic impact through travel and tourism. 

Visitors to the all-new will benefit from an improved user experience that offers expanded content including short form video, an interactive map, a book direct feature for hotel listing which is directly connected to local hotel websites, expanded restaurant listings and a searchable database of the exceptional sports facilities Overland Park offers.  

The all-new site was designed with the end-user in mind and is evident through how information is served up, and the mobile-first navigation, which allows different audiences on any device to easily search for and find information and resources relevant to their unique interests. Custom design elements draw upon the destination’s unique attributes and an increased emphasis has been placed on rich photography and video that can be found on each page, presenting viewers with an inspiring look at Overland Park’s vibrant natural beauty and eclectic mix of cultural, sports team, and family-friendly activities as well as the must haves that today’s meeting planners and rights holders are looking for.
