Let’s start this list off strong with some steak! McGregor’s Butcher & Bistro is a family-owned spot tucked into South Overland Park that brings cozy upscale vibes and the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time.

Their Steak Flight was honestly one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The flight is $60 and includes a 4 oz. filet, a 4 oz. KC Strip, and a 4 oz. Akaushi ribeye (which literally melts in your mouth). It's perfect for a date, family dinner or celebrating something or someone special!

Jinkies! Coffee & Hangout: Latte Flight

This place is pure FUN! Jinkies! Coffee & Hangout is owned by a mother-daughter duo (love that!) and the groovy vibes hit you the moment you walk in. Their seasonal coffee flights are full of bold flavors and served in the most adorable presentation. They are perfect for catching up with your besties or enjoying a peaceful solo moment with a book or your laptop.

Each Latte Flight is $15 and includes your choice of four drinks from the Limited Edition Menu. They’re served in 6 oz. cups, each with a shot of espresso and customizable toppings. My current faves? Charmalicious (a nostalgic cereal milk latte), Flower Power (a floral rose honey latte), and Funky Town (a rich toffee brown butter latte).

Taquiza: Margarita Tree

Why settle for one margarita when you can try four? At Taquiza, the Margarita Tree is a total showstopper with four flavored margaritas served in 750 ml Patrón bottles and hanging from a tiered tree. It's as fun (and photogenic) as it sounds. 

For $30 (or half priced on Mondays!), the Margarita Tree includes four different flavors of margaritas: blood orange, prickly pear, blackberry and pink guava. It's the ultimate pick for patio hangs, happy hour, or a date night that's anything but ordinary. 

Urban Egg: Gourmet Pancake Flight

This flight is a brunch-lover's dream come true. Urban Egg's pancake flights are completely customizable and every flavor that I tried was amazing. Plus, they have robust coffee and adult beverage options to enjoy alongside your flight! 

The Traditional Pancake Flight is $12.50 and includes three pancakes. You can choose from buttermilk, blueberry, strawberry, or chocolate chip. The Gourmet Pancake Flight is $14.25 and also includes three pancakes, but with upgraded flavors like strawberry cheesecake, blueberry streusel, cinnamon swirl, or Fred's Hawaiian pancakes. It’s a great pick for a weekend brunch with the family or a fun “just because” breakfast with your littles. 

Blue Chip Cookies & Ice Cream: Cookie & Ice Cream Flight

Last but definitely NOT least... It's time for dessert! Blue Chip Cookies & Ice Cream is our go-to for celebrating school wins, mom + kiddo dates, or just satisfying a serious sweet tooth. 

The Cookie & Ice Cream Flight is $15.99, and you get to pick four cookies and four ice cream flavors to try. It's so much fun to mix, match and share! For cookies, I went for chocolate chip, sprinkle sugar, M&M rainbow and a peanut butter fudge. For ice cream, I selected chocolate, Rush Hour, Superman, and the Anniversary Cake, which tastes just like yellow cake batter with swirls of frosting and cake bites.

Take this as your sign to treat yourself to something special the next time you visit Overland Park, because life is short and cookie flights exist!
